1. How does PayLid protect my information?

At PayLid, we believe our most important responsibility is to protect our customer's sensitive information. We realize that identity theft and credit card fraud are real problems, but know that they are also preventable. We have invested heavily to ensure that our systems do just that - protect you and us. We have built the platform from grounds up with this in mind and to this end we have partnered with Verisign, the world's leading provider of secure transactions. We DO NOT store your credit card information. Through the Verisign partnership, all your sensitive information is secure and is in the safest hands.
2. Can my sensitive information be snooped while I make a transaction on PayLid?

Absolutely not. We use secure http protocol (https) via Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates provided by Verisign, the SSL Certificate provider of choice for over 95% of the Fortune 500 and 96 of the world’s 100 largest banks. Via this certificate, all transactions of the PayLid.com site are encrypted with a 128bit encryption key that guarantees your information cannot be snooped.
We also encrypt all
personal identification information that you submit, including your
Name, Address, Phone number, E-mail address, Login ID and Password.
Credit Card and Bank Account information are never stored on our systems.
All auto-recharges are conducted via secure tokens and
reference transactions.
3. How can I retrieve my lost password?

All passwords are encrypted upon creation: so even PayLid cannot provide your password if you have lost or forgotten it. We will NEVER ask you for your password either by phone or email or any other means. Only you can change or reset your password by clicking on the "Reset password" link on our login page. This process will send you an email to your registered email account for you to complete the password reset process. You must never give your password to anybody. Call us immediately if you suspect a third party has access to your password or account information.
4. What types of verification does PayLid? [ Top ]
At PayLid we do extensive verification based on multiple parameters, to maintain tight security and ensure that our platform is used only by legitimate customers. Towards this end, we may ask you to verify email addresses and/or phone numbers. You may also be faced with some extra verification steps that may seem burdensome. In addition PayLid may put
suspicious orders on hold until we carry out further verification
which may create a slight delay. We will deny transactions where the name on the credit card used does not match the customer's name and where the card has been used by another PayLid customer, among other security measures to verify that the person making the transaction and the owner of the payment instrument are one and the same person. Please bear with us as it is necessary to ensure you have a safe and secure online experience.
5. When does PayLid send notifications? [ Top ]
PayLid will send you notifications every time your profile is changed, when a credit card is added to your account, when you make a transaction
